Privacy notice
MyLightLink is the quoting and submittal workspace used by United Lighting Sales, ULS Market Ready, Luraline Lighting, America Light, Lumex LED and Builders Select. This notice explains what personal data we handle when you use it and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, work email address, role and a securely hashed password. We never store passwords in readable form.
- Sign-in records: the date of your last sign-in and short-lived security records, such as hashed sign-in attempts, used to block password-guessing attacks.
- Work you create: quotes, project details and contact names you enter while building job packages.
Why we use it
We use this data to give you access to your account, keep the service secure, send password reset emails you request, and produce the quotes and submittal packages you build. The legal basis is the performance of our agreement with you or your employer and our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We use Brevo to deliver transactional emails such as password resets, and our hosting provider stores the database. Both process data only on our instructions. Quotes and packages are shared only with the people you choose to send them to.
How long we keep it
Account details are kept while your account is active and removed on request when it is closed. Sign-in security records are deleted automatically within 24 hours. Password reset links expire after one hour.
Cookies
We only use cookies that are strictly necessary for the service to work. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR, you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, object to or restrict how we use it, and complain to your local data protection authority. You can update your name, email and password at any time under My account.
Security
All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Passwords are hashed, sign-in attempts are rate limited and sessions expire after inactivity.
